About Rowcall

The short story of how - and why - this product exists.

Rowcall is built and run by one person - me. I spent years working as a QA engineer, and I could never find the right tool for the job. Every test pass started in Excel, and every test pass outgrew it: a spreadsheet gives you rows, but no real structure for a QA workflow - no who-does-what-where, no checklists, no statuses that roll up into a picture of the run. The dedicated test-management suites solved that and then kept going: far too complicated, built and priced for big teams, with days of setup before you run your first test. What I needed sat squarely in between, and it didn't seem to exist. So I set out to build a better solution I could use on my own projects.

That tool became Rowcall. It's offline-first - everything saves straight to your device, so the core product costs me almost nothing to run and I can share it with you free of charge. When you want more protection, the optional Cloud account seamlessly backs up all of your data, so there's no risk of losing your work and you can pick up your projects anywhere, from any device. I use Rowcall for my own testing every day; I hope it earns a place in your workflow too.
