Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rowcall (the "Service"), available at rowcall.app and app.rowcall.app. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Rowcall is a tool for tracking manual software testing. The Free plan stores your project data locally on your device. The Cloud plan is a paid subscription that additionally backs up your project data and syncs it across your devices.
2. Accounts
You sign in with a one-time code emailed to you; you are responsible for maintaining access to your email address and for activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions & billing
- The Cloud plan is billed in advance, monthly ($14.99) or annually ($149), through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time via the billing portal in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- When your subscription ends, your account reverts to the Free plan: the app continues to work with the data on your device, syncing stops, and your cloud copy is retained so it reattaches if you resubscribe.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your data
Your project data belongs to you. On the Free plan it lives in your browser's storage; on the Cloud plan a copy is also stored on our servers to provide backup and sync. You can delete your data and account at any time from the account page, which permanently removes your cloud data, cancels any subscription, and deletes your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the Service, reverse engineering it, or using it for unlawful purposes.
6. Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice; for material reductions affecting paid features, we will provide a pro-rated refund of any prepaid, unused period on request.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data on the Free plan, which is stored solely on your device.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
